MSU Parking Pains
Parking on MSU’s campus can sometimes be a nightmare, and it is about to get a little bit worse. If you are brave enough to drive to campus and park during class, you will need these updates to prepare yourself for some changes.
Lot 65 near Armstrong Hall will be closing at the end of February to make some water main improvements and is expected to reopen in May. The lot near Emmons hall will be closed from May until 2011 when renovations to Emmons hall are complete.
Lot 3 will close permanetly in March because it is the future site of a new art museum.
Fortunately for Chandler Crossings residents, they can take the CATA Bus from their MSU apartments for FREE! Their free bus passes are an awesome savings and it is super convenient not having to search for parking spots everyday. For everyone else, start planning ahead! You may have to leave your MSU student apartment a few minutes earlier to battle it out for parking spaces on campus. You can get even more updates from The State News.
