» MSU Tuition is on the Rise Again!

So this just in. MSU is raising tuition… again! I know it seems like we just heard this 6 months ago but this time it’s legit. It’s coming I’m afraid. So what’s the pocket damage this year? Well, MSU Board of Trustees has announced that the increase would be about 5.25% or about $369 per semester!
When events like this happen, we have to ask the question; Who’s to blame? Why is it every year MSU has another reason to increase costs for its already expensive tuition? Well, according to the MSU Board of Trustees they have to make up the dollars somewhere. They claim that rise in tuition is due to the loss of dollars they receive from the State. Whatever the reason… I’d better start searching for that extra summer job to make up the difference in my fall tuition.
