Looking for somewhere fun and different to take your significant other for a date this week? Who isn’t, right? Let’s face it, though watching movies in your East Lansing Apartment is cool, watching them on a BIG SCREEN outdoors is WAY cooler!
Each Thursday from tomorrow through the end of August, the city of East Lansing shows an outdoor movie in Valley Court Park. This weekly event is always free AND features an hour long music act before the film showing! A concert and a movie? Yes please! And it’s super close to your MSU student apartment.

Hi Ya’ll, so, I am going to throw this out there… Have any of you actually Skyped from your MSU student apartment? For me, yes, I do it all the time. I usually will Skype with my friends before we go out at night to see if they like my outfit! Seriously, I am not kidding. I just quickly hit the call button and I am connected to my best friend who can either approve the outfit or make me change. I love it.
Not only am I using Skype for fun things like that but I am also finding that I am using Skype more than I use my cell phone. My mom and I hardly talk on the phone anymore. We Skype. And, the best part is Skype is FREE!
Thanks to its service I was able to stay connected to my best friend who studied abroad in Italy this past winter. We would literally set up Skype meeting so when I returned home to my Michigan State Student Apartment from campus we could easily connect.

Don’t forget that today is Chandler Crossings awesome X-treme Sports Party! Grab your buddies and get to The Village at Chandler Crossings from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Race your roommate up our HUGE rock climbing wall or for those of you who have some built up aggression towards your roommate for always leaving thier dishes in the sink… try getting them alone in our boxing arena. It’s all fun and games of course!
Not only will there be cool things for you to do but we’ll have plenty of FREE Food for you to sink your teeth in. (I mean, who doesn’t love FREE food?) Oh yeah, we forgot to mention the best part, not only can you have fun in an X-treme way today but you can also save an X-treme amount of cash if you sign a lease at Chandler Crossings. For today only, if you sign a lease at any of our Chandlers Crossing Apartments we’ll waive your move in costs… Seriously. You would only pay a $25 application fee. Now that’s some X-treme savings.
